I ran into Walt in a bar in Rota Spain in 1969. He was in the Navy also. He took me to his house for dinner and to meet his wife, also a Gator from class of 66. Also a shock, it was Sandy Servasis. Never was a good speller. Old Jack Leib use to love to crack my A*% with that paddle.

Debbie Keller put me in touch with this website and I was looking at the Alumni Map to see if anyone lived in San Diego, and I saw that there was a Gateway grad living near by. Low and behold it was a good friend. Gwen and I met to have coffee and ended up having lunch. We talked for about 5 hours--after all we had over 30 years of catching up to do.

I just wanted to say thank you to the folks who put up this website to keep it up!
I posted a "Lost and Found" message about looking for John Almasi less than two weeks ago. Someone named Marsha, who is putting together the reunion for the class of 1981 saw it and realized that she had a Jan Almasi on the '81 reunion list, and forwarded me Jan's email address, which I used to send her an email asking if she knew John. Jan turned out to be John's little sister. I just received a very lengthy email from John, who I will promptly encourage to sign up at this site.
Thank you again. This means a great deal to me.
