Diane was my first girlfriend. I can remember so vividly sitting in Greg Friedland's back yard in the grass on multiple occasions with her and Greg. SHe was the first girl ever to ride on the back of a motorcycle with me. IT hit me like a rock when I heard the news last year. I had no idea she had passed away. Over the years, after I went into the Marine Corps, we lost all contact with each other. It is one of those cases where I truly wish I would have tried to contact her before this happened--just to say hello and how you doing? Whoever reads this, don't ever let the opportunity to talk to someone pass you by, because you never know if you will get a second chance.
