Mr. Melvin Maxwell Junior

Mr. Maxwell (1935 - 2020)taught Math at Gateway Senior High for 35 years. I was in his Geometry and Algebra II classes. He was an excellent teacher and had a sense of humor. I remember him always standing at his door greeting each student as we entered. He will be greatly missed.
