Kevin R. Polce, 43, formerly of Monroeville, died Dec. 15, 2006, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a registered nurse at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, before moving to Florida and continuing his career at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. He had been a substitute teacher and softball umpire and was a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, Fla. Surviving are his wife, Wendy Polce; daughters, Abby and Chloe Polce; son, Dominec Polce; parents, Dominec and Patricia Polce of Monroeville; brother, Jeffrey Polce of Monroeville; and grandmother, Lena Ferguson of Altoona. A service was held at First Baptist Church in Florida, where he was interred. Veterans Funeral Care in Clearwater, Fla., handled the arrangements.
