Art Witt - Arthur Witt, 58, of Wilkinsburg, formerly a longtime resident of Monroeville, passed away after a long illness Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012. He was the beloved son of the late Frank Arthur Jr. and Anne (Pow) Witt; loving brother of the Rev. Dennis (Barbara) Witt, of Etna, Ohio, and Frank (Penni) Witt III, of Morgantown, W.Va.; proud uncle of Sarah, Jack, Peter, (1971 pic) Christine, Frank V a nd the late Frank IV. Arthur graduated from Gateway High School and Bucknell University with a bachelor's degree, becoming a chemical engineer. He was a lifetime member of the Bethel United Presbyterian Church which was an anchor in his life and his family's life. Arthur enjoyed bowling, golfing, and most of all being with family. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon Saturday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORY INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville, 412-856-4747, where a service will be held at noon Saturday. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
